Dome

Dome was made with discarded vines in a park in Dettelbach, a town in Franken, an important wine-producing region of Germany. Most of the park is mowed at least twice during the summer season, and Dome protected a small area of wildlife within a landscape otherwise shaped by agriculture or by people hiking along the old course of the Rhine.
Dome is conceived more as a sculpture for non-humans than for humans and was made to deteriorate and decompose.
