Bubble

The sculpture uses trompe-l-oeil images of its surroundings to close off a space that visitors cannot enter. Light comes from within and voices can be heard. However, just like in social bubbles, when you are outside you cannot really understand what is being said. At times, a fragment of a sentence almost seems to make sense, only to be lost again among other fragments. The voice recordings all come from the film Everything Was Green, fragments of which were also part of the installation Everything Was Green.
