Kreuzberger Pflanze

The title refers to the exhibition held at Kotti Shop in Berlin after a series of Berliner Pflanze walks with Georg Spehr. The two separate works both refer to the immediate neighbourhood of the exhibition space.
The Door is a life-size digital print of the photograph of the gallery door, with theatrical, stage-set-like arrangement of photographs of trees and bushes from parks in Kreuzberg.
Bauerngarten is an installation based on the 19th century type of garden that combined useful and edible plants (see also the exhibition in the Gallery in Körnerpark). The plants were sourced in two well-known local shops.
