I Will Count from Ten to One

The hypnotic performances from the project Everything Was Green were also the starting point of this project. In those performances, the artist individually hypnotized a relatively large group of people and asked them to visualize a positive future. Unexpectedly, the majority of them saw this future as a green, natural environment. A selection of the interviews conducted after the hypnosis was shown.
The artist's own experience of being hypnotized resulted in a fragmented vision, in which kaleidoscope-like facets appeared within her field of view. Both the object and the collages reinterpret this way of seeing.
The exhibition also featured a newly shot single-channel version of the two-channel video My Voice Will Go With You, originally made for the Kunstverein am Rosa-Luxembburg-Platz in Berlin in 2020.
